Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how RoseCo Domain Hosting LLC, doing business as RoseCo for Actors ("RoseCo," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit rosecoforactors.com, any linked landing page, or any advertisement that directs you here (together, the "Site"), or when you use our website design, hosting, or demo reel services (the "Services").

2. Information we collect

Information you give us directly:

  • Name, email address, phone number, and city, when you fill out a contact form, request the Casting-Ready Audit, submit the Reel/Resume Gut-Check, or sign up for a Service.
  • Headshots, demo reels, resumes, links to existing websites or social profiles, and any other creative materials you submit for review or for use in building your site.
  • Billing name and related account details when you purchase a Service. We do not store full payment card numbers; payments are processed by Stripe, and their handling of your payment data is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
  • Any information you include in emails, calls, or messages to us.

Information collected automatically:

  • Device and browser type, IP address, general location (city/region level), pages viewed, and referring pages, collected through standard web server logs and analytics tools.
  • Information collected through the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API (see Section 4 below) when you visit the Site or interact with our ads.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Deliver the Service you requested (build and host your site, produce your demo reel, respond to an audit or gut-check request).
  • Process payment through Stripe and manage your account.
  • Send Service-related communications (project updates, invoices, renewal notices).
  • Send marketing communications (case studies, tips, offers) only where permitted. Marketing emails always include a working unsubscribe link, honored within ten business days, consistent with the CAN-SPAM Act. Marketing text messages are sent only to people who have separately opted in, and any "STOP" request is honored within fifteen days, consistent with the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act and the federal TCPA.
  • Run and measure advertising, including retargeting people who visited the Site and building lookalike audiences from past clients, through Meta's advertising tools.
  • Improve the Site and our Services.
  • Maintain business, tax, and legal records.

We do not sell your personal information for money. See Section 8 for what "sharing" means under California law and how that applies to our use of Meta's ad tools.

4. Meta Pixel, Conversions API, and advertising cookies

We use Meta Business Tools, including the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, on this Site. This means:

  • Meta and other third parties may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to collect or receive information from this Site and elsewhere on the internet.
  • That information is used by Meta to help us measure ad performance, build custom and lookalike audiences, and deliver ads that may be more relevant to you, both on and off Meta's platforms.
  • You can opt out of the collection and use of this information for ad targeting through:
    • Meta's own ad settings, at facebook.com/settings/ads
    • The Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool: http://www.aboutads.info/choices
    • The European interactive digital advertising opt-out tool: http://www.youronlinechoices.eu/

If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, opting out through the tools above may not stop all data processing; contact us directly with any GDPR-related request.

5. Cookies and similar technologies generally

We use cookies for core site functionality, analytics, and advertising as described above. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may not work as intended if you do.

Some states require businesses to honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and other opt-out browser signals. We honor GPC signals as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, where legally required.

6. How we share information

We share information with:

  • Service providers who perform work on our behalf, including Stripe (payments), our hosting and infrastructure providers, our email platform, and Meta (advertising, as described above). These providers are only permitted to use your information to provide services to us.
  • Legal and safety reasons, if required to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RoseCo, our clients, or others.
  • A successor entity, if RoseCo is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy or a policy at least as protective.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not knowingly share information collected from a child in a way that COPPA would prohibit.

7. Children's privacy

This Site is not directed to children under thirteen years old, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under thirteen without verifiable parental consent.

Because our clients include actors of all ages, including minors, the following applies:

  • If you are under eighteen, you may only use this Site, submit materials, or request a Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  • Any account, contract, or purchase for a minor actor must be made and signed by a parent or legal guardian, not by the minor.
  • Any materials submitted on behalf of a minor (headshots, reels, resumes, contact information) must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian, not the minor directly.
  • If we learn that we have collected personal information directly from a child under thirteen without the required parental consent, we will delete that information. A parent or guardian who believes we have collected such information can contact us at stephen@rosecocreative.com to request review or deletion.

8. Your privacy rights

California residents. Under the California Online Privacy Protection Act, we make the disclosures in this policy available to all visitors, regardless of location. In addition, although RoseCo does not currently meet the CCPA's business-size thresholds (revenue over $26.625 million, data from 100,000 or more California consumers or households per year, or 50% or more of revenue from selling or sharing personal information), we extend the following rights to California residents as a matter of practice:

  • The right to know what personal information we have collected about you and why.
  • The right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions (such as records we must keep for tax or contract purposes).
  • The right to opt out of the "sharing" of your information for cross-context behavioral advertising, which includes our use of the Meta Pixel. You can exercise this by using the opt-out tools in Section 4 or by contacting us directly.
  • The right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

To submit a request, email stephen@rosecocreative.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within a reasonable time.

Other states. Residents of other states with consumer privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah) may have similar rights regarding access, correction, deletion, and opt-out of targeted advertising. Contact us using the information above to make a request, and we will address it consistent with applicable law.

9. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Client project files and materials are generally retained for the length of the hosting relationship plus a reasonable period after termination, unless you request earlier deletion.

10. Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Consistent with the Florida Information Protection Act, if a data breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify affected individuals as required by law.

11. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites, including client portfolio sites and social media. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Review their policies separately.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
